Get Your Smile Back
If you have a damaged or missing tooth in Frisco, Plano, or Dallas, MODERN BITE DENTISTRY is where you want to be. Frisco dentist Dr. Shaggy is an experienced cosmetic and restorative dentist. Through treatments like fillings, root canals, and implant restorations, Dr. Shaggy can restore your smile and your bite to its healthiest state. You’ll feel great about how you look, and you can get back to your day-to-day life pain-free.
Restore Decayed Teeth
At MODERN BITE DENTISTRY, we exclusively use composite fillings rather than metal amalgam fillings to treat decayed teeth. Composite fillings match the color of your existing teeth perfectly, maintaining your smile’s natural, seamless appearance. In addition, composite fillings have a very strong hold and require less removal of your natural enamel. If you suspect you have a cavity, come to our office right away for a consultation, and get the help you need.
Save Infected Teeth
Root Canal Therapy
If you leave a cavity untreated, or if a tooth suffers oral trauma, it may become infected. When the enamel is broken and damaged, the vulnerable pulp that supports your tooth can become exposed to oral bacteria.
An infected tooth will die without the proper endodontic treatment. Root canal therapy cleans the inside of your tooth, restores its structure, and prevents further damage. Dr. Shaggy specializes in anterior (molar/premolar) root canals, and works with an endodontic specialist for more complex cases. We’ll do everything we can here at MODERN BITE DENTISTRY to ensure your tooth is saved.
Replace Missing Teeth
Dental implants are the best long-term restoration option for missing teeth. They support the strength of your jaw bone, last for 30+ years, and look and feel completely natural, making them superior to alternatives like partial dentures or dental bridges.
At our office, we work with implant specialists to restore your smile. We can set you up with a number of implant restorations, such as crowns, fixed bridges, and removable implant-supported dentures. Dr. Shaggy will work closely with your implant specialist or oral surgeon to provide you with the best possible results, and give you an implant restoration that will keep your smile looking great for years to come.
Stay Comfortable During Your Appointment
Sedation With Laughing Gas
Laughing gas sedation is a great way to help nervous patients sit comfortably throughout their appointment. When you opt-in for sedation dentistry, Dr. Shaggy will use a nose mask to deliver a mixture of laughing gas and oxygen directly to your lungs. Just breathe in, and you’ll feel calm and relaxed. Most patients feel pleasantly “disconnected” from what’s happening around them.
Best of all, laughing gas has few side effects such as dizziness, minor nausea, or headaches that will wear off within 5 minutes. You’ll be able to drive yourself home or even go back to work after your appointment.
